Our products

Mustards and condiments
Our mustards we blend mustard seeds, wine vinegars, olive oil, honey and spices from around the world to create mustards full of flavour and bite. Flavours such as 'Wholegrain and Sun Dried Tomato' and 'Honey Mustard with Chilli', add a little extra something to any dish.

  • Devon Cider Mustard - Crushed Mustard Seed soaked in local cider, to accompany white meat or ham.       
  • Wholegrain & Sun Dried Tomato Mustard - Served with all meats and as a vinaigrette for salad, lending a touch of sunshine to both.
  • Honey Mustard with Chilli - Works wonderfully well with cold ham and English sausages.
  • Horseradish Sauce - A traditional accompaniment to roast beef.  For a change, give it a try with smoked fish.
  • Tartare Sauce - Fish and chips deserve a great tartare sauce.

Chutneys
Our chutneys are made with fresh vegetables and are cooked in small batches to ensure the quality and flavours are kept to the highest standard. 'Victorian Kitchen Garden Chutney' will add colour and flavour to the plainest ploughman's while 'Carrot and Coriander Chutney', with its spices from the Far East, will compliment the best homemade curry.

  • West Country Cider Chutney - Made with local cider and packed with apples.
  • Real Ale Chutney - A traditional chutney with chunky vegetables, raisins, dates and a good measure of local beer.  Full of flavour.
  • The Ploughmans Chutney - A smooth chutney with chopped dates and natural sweetness.  Excellent with tasty cheese or as a sandwich chutney.
  • Victorian Kitchen Garden Chutney - This dark, rich mixture of vegetables, fruits and spices works wonderfully with farmhouse cheddar, pork pies and cold ham.
  • Farmhouse Chutney - A hearty chutney, full of flavour, with texture and bite.
  • Harvest Time Fruit Chutney - Chunks of apple, pear and tomato make this a wonderful chutney for the cheese platter.
  • Red Onion Marmalade - Caramelised red onions to compliment pâté, and also fantastic with a blue cheese such as stilton.  Our best selling condiment.
  • Spiced Carrot and Coriander Chutney - This warming chutney is a  favourite,  the wonderful colour coming from freshly grated carrot, tomato puree  and chilli oil with coriander seeds.  Good with cold meat salads.
  • Mango Chutney - Our Mango is made in Eastern India by a company famous for its chutney.  Made with fresh sliced mango, matured over a period of time, this will accompany any curry dish. 
  • Mango and Chilli Chutney - The same base as our very popular mango, but we’ve added red chillies to give it just A little kick in the after taste!
  • Mango and Ginger Chutney - Again using the same base as mango chutney, but adding  crystallised ginger to give A different taste and texture.
  • Spicy Tomato Chutney - This simple traditional chutney is mixed with a careful blend of spices to make it a perfect accompaniment for cheese or barbequed chicken.
  • Sweet Red Red Pepper Relish with Basil - Made with sun-ripened sweet red peppers, this will add sunshine to any meal with its hint of basil.  It’s  perfect for barbeques as well as the dining table.
  • Pineapple and Chilli Chutney - Made with  fresh onions and pineapple with flakes of red chilli.  Fruity but with a hint of  hot chilli  flavour.

Jams, jellies, marmalades and curd.
Our jams are made with high fruit content, making them 'extra jams'. We cook all our jams, jellies and marmalades in the traditional way, in open pans in small batches. This ensures that the flavour and identity of the fruit is retained. Why not try something a little special such as 'Strawberry and Marc de Champagne', 'Orange and Whisky Marmalade' or 'Lemon and Honey Marmalade'.

  • Strawberry Jam - Made in a traditional way with whole strawberries.  Smells wonderful, tastes fantastic.
  • Raspberry Jam - Fantastic as an alternative to strawberry for cream teas.  The rich colour just tells you what the flavour will be like.
  • Blackcurrant Jam - Our favourite - the tartness of the blackcurrants  works wonderfully with hot buttered scones.
  • Gooseberry & Elderflower Jam - The gooseberries have been ‘spiced up’ with elderflower to give a wonderful lingering flavour reminiscent of hot summer evenings in the garden.
  • Apricot Jam - Many people’s favourite, soft set, luscious on thick crusty white bread or toast.
  • Summer Fruit Jam - This is my favourite.  Making this reminds me of summer pudding and the rich aromas of ripe fruit.  Made with strawberries, raspberries and blackcurrants.
  • Strawberry and Marc de Champagne - For that special occasion.  Your favourite jam with a toast of champagne.
  • Blackberry & Apple Jam - An old fashioned recipe which reminds me of autumn, harvest-time and orchards.
  • Crab Apple and Cider Jelly - We first made this with our own cider.  Today we use local cider.  Perfect with roast pork or try adding it to your gravy.
  • Cranberry and Claret Jelly - Don’t just save this for turkey - delicious with Lamb or even on toast or scones.
  • Spiced Redcurrant Jelly - Made in small batches with wonderful mellow spices to give you a surprise.  This is wonderful with Sunday roast lamb or to add a little sweetness to your gravy.
  • Apple and Mint Jelly - Traditional accompaniment to roast lamb.
  • Seville Orange Marmalade - Thinly sliced Seville Oranges made in a traditional way makes this still one of the most popular marmalades.
  • Thick Cut Marmalade - Chunky peel and bitter-sweet flavour make this ideal for hot buttered toast.
  • Orange Marmalade with Ginger - A rich marmalade, the warmth  of ginger coming through has always made this a favourite.
  • Three Fruit Marmalade - Made with oranges, lemons  and grapefruit  this tangy marmalade is delicious with croissants.
  • Whisky Marmalade - Seville Marmalade with a hint of whisky.
  • Grapefruit and Ginger Marmalade - The ginger just takes the edge off the grapefruit, leaving a wonderfully mellow marmalade.
  • Lemon and Honey Marmalade - Award-winning and one of our best selling Marmalades.  Made with clear honey, giving a rich, full flavour.
  • Ginger Conserve - Technically a conserve, but we treat this like a marmalade for breakfast with hot toast and butter.
  • Lemon Curd - Made in the traditional way using butter and eggs – comfort food at its best.
